Akış Teleprompter — Privacy Policy & Terms
Our privacy approach
Your scripts, prompter settings, and recording history are stored on this device and are not uploaded to an account. A pseudonymous device account and subscription status are processed by Supabase and RevenueCat to activate and restore Pro access. Camera and microphone access is used only after you open the recording studio and grant permission. Videos remain in the app’s private documents until you delete them or remove the app.
Permissions
Camera access captures video, microphone access captures audio, and Photos access adds a finished recording to your library. You can revoke these permissions from device settings at any time.
AI drafts
When you tap “Create draft” on the Smart script screen, the topic, audience, tone and length you entered are sent to OpenAI to generate the draft; the result comes back to you and is stored only on your device. The rest of your scripts, your recordings and your prompter settings are never sent. If you never use this feature, no text leaves your device; with no connection the draft is generated entirely on-device.
Crash reports
If the app closes unexpectedly, a technical crash report (device model, OS version, stack trace) is sent to us through Sentry so we can fix the fault. These reports contain no script text, no recordings and no identity; IP addresses are not stored.
Terms of use
You are responsible for the content you create with the app. The app is provided as is; make a short test recording before an important shoot. Pro prices, billing period and renewal terms are shown on the purchase screen using information supplied by the App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in your store account.
Subscription
Akış Pro is offered monthly and annually. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your store account settings.
